ROOFING WEBSITE DESIGN

We design and build custom websites for roofing companies that show your roofs, earn a homeowner's trust before the first call and turn visits into estimate requests, on a site that's fast on a phone and yours to keep.

Why roofing websites lose the estimate before the call

  1. Slow on a phone

Most roofing home pages are slow on a phone, usually because of heavy photos and plugins. A homeowner with a leak won't wait.

  2. No price, no warranty term

Almost no roofing sites show a price, and few give a warranty term in years. Those are the two things homeowners compare before they call.

  3. One page for repair, replacement and the rest

An owner pricing a metal roof and a neighbour with a leak land on the same Services page. Neither sees their job, and Google can't tell which search the page is for.

  4. A form that asks nothing useful

A blank message box means a phone call just to learn the address, the roof age and whether it's leaking now. A few good questions let you sort the leak from the replacement before you pick up.

A page per roof type and job

Asphalt, metal, cedar, flat roofs, repairs and leak calls: each with your own roofs, the materials and makers you install, warranty terms in years and the questions homeowners ask about that job.

The proof page homeowners look for

Your warranty term, the maker programs you hold, your insurance and WorkSafeBC coverage, licence numbers where your province asks for one and your reviews, in one place linked from every page. Names and numbers, not "fully licensed and insured".

Built for a phone and a leak

Phone and estimate button in the first screen, photos sized to load fast and a form that asks the roof age, the problem and the town. A leak page puts click-to-call above everything else.

Also in the plan

  • Financing and insurance pages, where you offer them Prairie roofers offer insurance claim help and financing far more often than BC roofers do. If you do either, it gets its own page and a line in the footer.
  • Branding for roofing companies A logo and colours that hold up on a truck, a lawn sign and a Google thumbnail. Roofing Branding
  • Google Ads for roofing companies Each campaign lands on the matching roof page, not the home page. Roofing Google Ads

400+ leads and $1M+ from one website

  • 400+qualified leads from Google Ads
  • 120+projects in the first year
  • $1M+in revenue from the marketing

Mack's had a great reputation and no website. We built a page for every flooring type and every town they serve, then pointed Google Ads at the page that matched each search. In the first year: 400+ qualified leads, 120+ projects and more than $1M in revenue.

A roofing site follows the same rule: a page for every roof type and every town, so each search lands on a page about that job.

The website looks great, I get compliments on it all the time, and more importantly, leads are coming in every week! Outstanding service, outstanding results. I’ll recommend Evan every chance I get.

Websites we have built for contractors

Real companies in real towns, each site built around the jobs they want more of.

When a roofing company should build its website

  1. November to February

    Build it

Replacement work slows, so there is time to plan pages, gather warranty details and pull photos from last season.

  2. March

    Launch before the replacement research

Go live before homeowners who patched a leak all winter start pricing a new roof.

  3. June to September

    Shoot the roofs

Long, dry days for photos and drone footage of roofs going on and finished.

  4. October

    Add the year's jobs

New job pages and fresh reviews go up before the first big rain brings the leak calls.

Website pricing for roofing companies

One-time prices, and you own the finished site. A roofing site needs a page for each roof type and then one per town, so count yours before you choose. Most roofers start with the Foundation Package, which adds the brand and the Google profile.

Starter Website

Start marketing in your local area and show up when people search for your services.

A new website pays off for roofers with roofs to show

You're a good fit if

  • You have finished roofs, photographed or still standing for us to shoot
  • Your site is a template, loads slowly or looks older than your best roofs
  • You want homeowners to see your warranty and insurance before they call
  • You can give us your job list and feedback on drafts within a few days

We're not a fit if

  • You want the cheapest site you can find
  • You'd rather not show your roofs online

What does a roofing website cost?

Our Starter Website is $3,200 one time and the Scaling Website is $11,000. The Foundation Package adds your logo, brand, business cards and Google profile to an 8-page site for $3,500. Hosting and your domain are small ongoing costs, and we go through them on the first call.

What makes a good roofing website?

A page for each roof type, your own job photos, your warranty term and insurance where homeowners look, a phone number and estimate button in the first screen on a phone, and a fast load. That's what a homeowner checks before they call.

What pages does a roofing website need?

A home page, a page per roof type and job (replacement, repair, leak, metal, asphalt, flat), a gallery of finished roofs, a process page, an about page with your warranty and insurance, a reviews page and a contact page. Add a page per town if you work in several.

Should a roofing website show prices?

A starting range helps, and almost no roofer shows one. A range per roof type in your own numbers, like "asphalt re-roofs start around" and a figure, screens out homeowners who can't afford a new roof before they book an estimate.

Should I use Wix or a template instead?

Sure, if you need a site fast and cheap. A template costs a monthly fee for as long as you use it, and it has no idea what a roofer needs. A custom site is built around your roof types and towns, and you keep it.

Should my site name the shingle makers I install?

Yes, if you install them. Most roofing sites don't name a maker. Say which brands you install and, if you hold a maker program, which one, so a homeowner can check it on the maker's own site.

How fast should a roofing website load?

Google's "good" mark for the main content is 2.5 seconds or less. Most roofing sites are well over it on a phone. We build and test at phone width.

Do I own the website?

Yes. The site rights and the domain are yours. If you leave, both go with you.

Get more roofing jobs from your website

Send us your current site and tell us which roofs you install.

  1. We reply within 24 hours.
  2. We look at your site on a phone, the way a homeowner would.
  3. You get a plan and a price. If your site only needs a few fixes, we'll say so.

P.S. Most roofers start with the Foundation Package: a website, a brand and a Google profile for $3,500, by application. Send us your site and we'll name the checks it fails.
