ROOFING BRANDING & LOGO DESIGN

We design logos and brands for roofing companies that look as solid as the roofs you install, on the truck, the lawn sign, the crew shirts, the estimate and the Google profile, with every file yours to keep.

How a weak brand costs roofers the better jobs

  1. A roof with a name under it

Plenty of roofing logos are a peaked roof and a company name. Homeowners can't tell one from the next, and it won't read on a lawn sign from a passing car.

  2. Your truck is your biggest ad

A roofing truck sits in a driveway for days. A phone number in small type and a logo nobody can read from the street waste the best advertising you have.

  3. Three logos, one company

The truck wears the old logo, the website a newer one, and the Google profile shows a photo of a ladder. A homeowner holding three quotes sees a company that hasn't got itself together.

  4. A name that can not carry keywords

Your Google profile has to use your real business name. Adding "Vancouver Roofing Experts" breaks Google's guidelines and can get the profile suspended. If your name doesn't say roofing, the brand has to.

What we design for a roofing company

  1. The T City Developments website on a laptop
    Logos & Branding

A logo that survives the job

Tested on a truck door, a lawn sign, a hard hat decal and a Google thumbnail before you see it. Thin lines and long taglines go. Colours chosen to print cleanly on vinyl, hi-vis and embroidery.

  2. A van wrapped in the Beyond The Brush Painters brand

Trucks, lawn signs and crew gear

Truck wraps and decals, job lawn signs and crew shirts with your name, what you do and a phone number, in that order. Then we photograph your crew wearing it.

    Estimates and warranty sheets

Templates for estimates, a one-page warranty sheet and a checklist of what a homeowner should get in writing, all carrying your logo and your terms. A homeowner lays three of these side by side.

What a new brand did for a painting company

  • 8jobs booked from Google Ads
  • 20days from website launch
  • 7Xreturn on ad spend

Beyond The Brush wanted to look like the bigger painting companies. We built the brand, the cards and the van wrap, then the website, and switched on Google Ads. The ads booked 8 jobs in the 20 days after launch.

A roofing truck and a lawn sign do the same work: they sit in the driveways around your next job.

I'm very happy with service from Debut Marketing. Evan is very professional, responsive, and has been great helping grow my painting business online. I really appreciate their communication and the effort they put into our marketing. Highly recommend!

Brands we have built for contractors

When to rebrand a roofing company

  1. November to February

    Design it

Replacements slow in winter, so there is time for concept rounds and feedback without holding up a crew.

  2. March to April

    Order before the season

Truck decals, lawn signs and crew shirts printed before the first spring install, so every job wears the new brand.

  3. May to September

    Show it on every job

Every lawn sign and truck in a driveway carries it. Photograph crews and finished roofs while the look is fresh.

  4. October

    Update the paperwork

Estimate and warranty templates ready before the leak calls start.

A rebrand pays off when your work has outgrown your logo

You're a good fit if

  • Your logo was made before your best roofs
  • You're about to order a truck wrap, lawn signs or crew shirts
  • You bid against roofers with sharper estimates than yours
  • You want the truck, the site, the paperwork and Google to match

We're not a fit if

  • You want the cheapest logo you can find
  • You'll keep the old logo on the trucks anyway

What makes a good roofing logo?

A good roofing logo reads from a passing car and still holds up as a tiny Google profile photo. That means a simple mark, the name in strong letters, two or three colours and no thin lines or long tagline. It should look like the roofs you install, not like clip art of a house.

Is $500 too much for a logo?

For a roofing company it's usually too little to do the job. The logo has to work on trucks, lawn signs, hard hats, estimates and the web. Our Starter Kit is $1,600 for a custom logo, design files and a business card, and the Growth Kit is $3,600 for a full brand kit with guidelines.

Should I use a logo maker instead?

You can. A logo maker gets you a file quickly, but it draws on stock icons, so check that no other roofer uses your mark and that you get files for a truck wrap and a sign, not just a web image.

Should I rebrand or refresh my logo?

Refresh it if homeowners already know a colour or a mark on your trucks. Start over if the logo can't be read on a sign or a phone, or if it makes you look smaller than you are. We'll say which one applies on the first call.

Should my business name include my city or "roofing"?

Only if it's your real business name. Google doesn't allow extra keywords in a profile name, and profiles can be suspended for adding them.

Can you design truck wraps, lawn signs and crew shirts?

Yes. We lay out the wrap, sign or shirt with your name, what you do and a phone number, plus versions for hi-vis and hard hats, then send print-ready files to your shop. Check your city's rules on signs before you order.

What about a logo on the roof itself?

Roof logos suit large flat roofs that people see from above, like a commercial building. For a home roofer, the truck and the lawn sign are seen far more often.

Do I own the logo?

Yes. The design files are yours, and the Growth Kit includes full content rights in writing.
