ROOFING FACEBOOK ADS MANAGEMENT

We run Facebook and Instagram ads for roofing companies that want more replacements, made from your own roofs and set up inside Meta's Housing rules, so homeowners with an older roof find you before the leak.

40+ five-star Google reviews 100+ contractors served

Why roofing Facebook ads bring cheap leads that never book

  1. Targeting Meta doesn't allow

Ads for housing repairs sit in Meta's Housing category. For ads reaching Canada that means no age or postal code targeting, a 25 km minimum radius and no lookalike audiences. Many guides still tell you to target homeowners over 45 by postal code, and Meta can reject ads set up without the right category.

  2. Leaks are searched, not scrolled

A homeowner with water coming through the ceiling opens Google, not Facebook. Facebook finds the homeowner whose roof has a few winters left, which is the replacement you want.

  3. Leads who forgot they asked

Instant forms take two taps. Without a question about the roof's age, you collect names, not estimates. About 21 in 100 Facebook leads book, and 10 in 100 when the reply is slow.

  4. No pixel on the website

Most roofing websites don't have a Meta pixel. Without one, Meta can't show your roof video again to people who read your replacement page, and can't learn which leads booked.

Three roofing ads we'd test first

Each one is built from your own roofs, with one clear offer. The offers are yours to set.

HookPhoto or videoOffer
The roof age check "Built before 2005? Your roof may be on its last few winters." Curling, worn shingles from a job in that town, then the new roof A free roof age and condition check, with photos sent to your phone
Tear-off to finished A 30-second time-lapse of one of your roofs Video from the same spot each visit, plus one drone pass A tour of a roof in progress, then a free estimate
After the storm "Hail or wind last night? Here's how to check your roof from the ground." A short captioned video of your crew marking damage on a real roof A free inspection, and help with the insurance claim if you offer it

We don't send a roofing lead form out without the roof age question. Age tells you whether it's a repair or a replacement before you drive out.

    Forms that screen for you

Instant forms with Meta's higher-intent review step, plus questions about the roof age, the problem and the town. Replacement, repair and storm offers each run as their own campaign, so storm leads never drown out the steady ones.

    A text back in seconds

The moment a form comes in, the homeowner gets a text with a time to talk. Each booked roof goes back to Meta through the Conversions API, so your ads reach more people like the ones who book.

What we can show, and what we can't yet

  • 8jobs booked from Google Ads
  • 20days from website launch
  • 7Xreturn on ad spend

We don't have a roofing Facebook ads case study to share yet. The nearest thing is the work we did for a painting company: the brand, the van, the website and the before-and-after photos Beyond The Brush advertises with. Those 8 jobs came from Google Ads, not Facebook.

We show them because a roof video follows the same rules: real work, a clear offer and a page that matches the ad.

I'm very happy with service from Debut Marketing. Evan is very professional, responsive, and has been great helping grow my painting business online. I really appreciate their communication and the effort they put into our marketing. Highly recommend!

Roofing Facebook ads through the year

  1. January to March

    Roof age checks

Homeowners look at what winter did to the roof. Roof age checks and replacement quotes get most of the budget.

  2. April to June

    Jobs in progress

Tear-off time-lapses and before and afters while crews are on roofs and neighbours can see the work.

  3. July to September

    Finished roofs

Drone and walkaround videos of finished roofs, with a "book before the rain" offer.

  4. October to December

Retarget and stay near the phone

A smaller budget aimed at people who watched your videos or visited your replacement page. Leaks are searched, so those calls come from Google.

Facebook ads pricing for roofing companies

A monthly retainer, the same as our Google Ads plans. No video of your roofs yet? Your plan starts with our Ad Creative shoot, and we'd start with one offer, the roof age check, before adding a second.

Do Facebook ads work for roofers?

For replacements, yes: they reach homeowners with an older roof months before they search, so they work best with a fast reply and a job page to send people to. For leaks, no. A homeowner with a leak searches Google.

How much should a roofing company spend on Facebook ads?

$1,000 to $1,500 a month in one area is enough to learn which offer works. Judge it on booked estimates and signed roofs at 90 days, not cost per lead.

Should I run Facebook ads or Google Ads?

Most roofers need both. Facebook leads are cheaper but earlier in the decision, so fewer of them book. Google catches the homeowner with a leak today, and Facebook finds the one with an older roof who hasn't started looking. Judge each on booked roofs, not cost per lead.

Instant form or landing page?

Start with an instant form: Meta's higher-intent review step and three questions on the roof age, the problem and the town. Add a landing page once you have a job page worth sending people to, because people who click through to a good page are usually further along.

Does Meta's Housing category apply to roofing ads?

Yes. Meta's Housing category covers housing ads, including housing repairs, and ads reaching Canada must use it. A roof repair or replacement offer counts, so we set the category at launch instead of waiting for a rejection.

Can Facebook ads help us hire roofers?

Yes. Hiring ads run in Meta's Employment category, with the same limits on age and location targeting, and they should lead to a careers page with real openings. Put them in their own campaign, away from your client ads, so applicants don't land in your lead forms.

Do storm and hail campaigns work on Facebook?

They can. After hail or high wind, a local inspection offer reaches homeowners who don't yet know their roof is damaged. Write the storm ads ahead of time and keep them paused, so on the day only the area and the budget change.

Who owns the ad account and the pixel?

You do. The ad account, the page, the pixel and the audiences all belong to your business, and they stay with you if you ever leave.

Get more roofing jobs from Facebook ads

Tell us what roofs you install and send a link to your best job photos or video.

  1. We reply within 24 hours.
  2. We look at your roofs and tell you which offer we would test first.
  3. You get a plan and a price. If Facebook is the wrong tool for your work, we'll say so.

P.S. Most roofers who contact us begin with the Starter Package and a single offer. Short on video of your roofs? We open with the Ad Creative shoot.
